I have coached 2 years of club volleyball, half a season as a graduate manager at south carolina, half a season as an assistant coach. I am currently in my first year here at northern colorado.
What is your nickname? How did you get it?
dri. It's part of my name, but when i was in 5th grade my club volleyball coach started calling me that because adrianna was too long to say. it just kind of stuck.

Then i have 2 brothers and 4 sisters, a sister in law, 3 brothers in law, and 5 NIECES and nephews. Big family!
What is your favorite thing about UNC?
The people i get to interact with, my coworkers, and the team. living in colorado, it's become my home away from home. also, being apart of a program with a faith base, where it is openly accepted to talk about your faith.
What is your favorite thing to do in Greeley/Colorado?
hang out with friends and watch a ton of movies! i also love the outdoor environment and that it's totally normal to eat outside on a patio, bring your dog wherever, and people are just CONSTANTLY active.
WHAT IS ONE THING ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
to go on a mission trip and visit israel.
what is your favorite food?
honestly, it totally depends on what i'm feeling. i love all food, but mexican food and sushi are always on the top of the list!
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
my favorite memory is from my playing days. my junior season at csu we beat cu in 5 sets on our home court to go to the sweet 16. Also, getting the opportunity to play sand as a 5th year at South CArolina. it was such an amazing experience with some incredible people.
Who would you most like to meet (past or present)?
tony dungy. I think his outlook on living life as a christian coach and a family man is incredible and would love to just pick his brain on his experiences.
How would you describe your coaching style? What is your favorite part of the game to coach?
My favorite thing to coach is the strategy to beating the opponent, on an individual player level. Like as an attacker how can you outsmart the blocker or defense.
I would say my coaching style is more relaxed, but very detail-oriented. I believe that if you can be great at the little things, the bigger concepts become easier.
