FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What time should I show up on the first day of camp?
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the start of camp. If you are staying overnight for the 3-Day camp check-in is 30-60 minutes prior to the start of camp.
Q. Where do I go to check-in?
Check-in will be at the west entrance to the Bank of Colorado Arena. Weather permitting, the check-in area will be outside.
If you are staying in the dorms for the 3 Day Camp check in will be an hour prior to the start of camp in front of the dorm (more information will be shared closer to the start of camp).
Q. Do I need to purchase a UNC parking permit?
You do not need to purchase a UNC parking permit for drop-off and pick-up. If you are driving yourself to camp or if a parent is staying all day to watch camp, ask a staff member for a camp parking permit. Place the permit on your car dashboard.
The lots are ticketed Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Parking services will not ticket during the hours of check-in and check-out.
Q. Can anyone come watch camp?
Yes, spectators are allowed.
Q. What should I bring?
You should bring athletic clothes, knee pads, athletic shoes, water bottle, and money for the camp store (optional).
Q. I am staying in the dorms, what do I need to bring?
You should bring toiletries, bed linens, towel, extra clothes, snacks (optional).
Q. Are meals provided?
Yes. Lunch is provided if the camp runs during the lunch hour. All campers and staff will eat at Holmes Dining Hall.
3 Day Skills Camp- Lunch and Dinner is provided to all campers on Day 1 & Day 2. Breakfast on day 2 and 3 is provided for overnight campers.
Q. I have food allergies, what do I do?
There will be plenty of options at Holmes Dining Hall to accomodate all dietary restrictions. Food is labeled. Campers can also ask any Dining staff questions. For additional questions contact [email protected].
Q. What happens if I get hurt? Do you have a trainer in the gym?
There will be an athletic trainer on site that will handle any major medical needs for the campers. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible when filling out the medical questions during registration so that we may be prepared to manage your camper's needs.
