  • Benson. It’s my maiden name. my college teammates usually called me by my last name.

What is your favorite thing about UNC?
  • The people – volleyball is very well supported and the culture is blue collar, down to earth, and fun-loving.
What is your favorite thing to do in Greeley/Colorado?
  • There is great shopping here and I love to shop. I enjoy most outdoor activities and Colorado is filled with them. 
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
  • Winning our first Big Sky Championship in 2009

  • Donuts
What is one thing on your bucket list?
  • To visit Antarctica because it’s the only continent I haven’t been to.

  • John Wooden
How would you describe your coaching style? What is your favorite part of the game to coach?
  • In-game adjustments. I love when the two teams are evenly matched and playing at a high level that small adjustments make a big difference. It’s like a chess match.
