What is your nickname? How did you get it?
I have two- one is kenny... easier to say on the court than kendra. The other is whoozy. my middle name is luan, so growing up my dad would call me kendra lu, which turned to kenny lu to kenny whoo then to just plain whoozy. only my closest family calls me whoozy.
glenn and gayle are my parents. i have an older sister name katie and two younger twin brothers named travis and justin.
What is your favorite thing about UNC?
unc is my home. I grew up just down the street and attended college here. i also really enjoy the people and THE atmosphere. as a smaller school, everyone knows each other well and people are very willing to help each OTHER out.
What is your favorite thing to do in Greeley/Colorado?
My family and I love to go camping and four-wheeling! I try to get up to the mountains with them as much as i can in the summer.
WHAT IS ONE THING ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
Try to see as many Beaches as I can.
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
i would have to say winning the big sky tournament my junior year here at unc. the team peaked at just the perfect time.the team chemistry was flawless and the tournament felt easy even though we were playing tough teams like idaho state and north dakota. everyone was so dialed in and all played a part in the championship.
What is your favorite food?
i love cafe mexicali and my mom's krautburgers.
Who would you most like to meet (past or present)?
it would either have to be michael phelps or harry houdini.
How would you describe your coaching style? What is your favorite part of the game to coach?
dovo style- organized mess, laid back, big sister; i like the relationships that i get to build with the team and help them through college volleyball.
