ALL THE BASICS:
WHERE: All matches are in the Bank of Colorado Arena in Butler Hancock Hall (1600 23rd St) on UNC’s camps
Parking is FREE in lot M, which is between the arena and Nottingham Football stadium.
WHEN: All matches are at 6 pm unless otherwise noted.  Most matches last 1.5-2 hours (best 3 out of 5 sets to 25 points; 5th set to 15)
WHO: The Bears are consistently in the top 1/3 of Division 1 volleyball.  The Bears overall attendance ranked 42th in the country in 2023.  The average per match was just over 1300 fans.  The Bank of Colorado Arena seats 3000 fans.  Let’s Pack the Bank!
WHY: It’s fun!  It’s inexpensive!  These female student-athletes are great role models!  It’s interactive (bounce houses, giveaways, player autographs, photo shoots, dance with Klawz, etc).
HOW: Family pack of 6 tickets (2 adults/4 youth) are just $180 for an entire season of Bears Volleyball (15 matches).  That’s only $2 per ticket.
If you can’t attend a match, it is easy to share your tickets via email with friends and family. 
Last minute decision?  You can always purchase tickets at the door.  Tickets at the door at $12 for adults and $5 for youth.

What else do I need to know?
  1. Fans will form a tunnel for our athletes from the bear head in the southeast corner to the court at the 7:30 mark on the warm-up clock and with 1:30 left on the intermission clock between sets 2 & 3.  Join the fun!
  2. When the team gets a “stuff block” yell “You got roofed!”  A stuff block is when a point is immediately scored following the block of an attack at the net.  Getting “roofed” or “stuffed” is the volleyball lingo for a block.
  3. Stand and sing the fight song when you hear it.  We have even included the words to the fight song below.
  4. Invite your friends!  If you are unable to make it to a match pass along your season tickets to a neighbor or co-worker.
